You are signing up to walk on Sunday September 28th @ 12pm, from the Navy Yard towards Penn's Landing.

Please register individually for EACH segment of the Fall 2025 Walk Around Philadelphia that you plan to attend. 
 

About this segment:

Meet outside of The Bistro at the Courtyard Marriott South

THREE IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. This start point is further from public transit than our other walk start points. It is about a 20 minute walk (0.9 miles) from NRG station on the Broad Street Line, and there are also bike-share options for Indego users. This might also be a good place to use our ridesharing forum to coordinate travel with fellow walkers!

2. This segment includes an option to meet early at 10:30 for breakfast at The Bistro at the Courtyard Marriott. Their kitchen closes from 11am-12pm as they pivot to lunch service, so you can find us there anytime in that range but need to get there before 11am to order food.

3. This segment includes a finish line celebration at Cherry Street Pier – Please invite your friends & family to find us at the finish line there 5-7pm! You can send them this link. 

This segment is estimated to take roughly 5-7 hours and 10 miles. The terrain may include potential for big roundabout detour adventures and/or bushwhacking, then roads and sidewalks. 

Your mileage, terrain and endpoint may vary depending on choices made by your group; you can always choose to walk a partial segment.

 

Registration fees & contributions:

Walk event fees cover some of the administrative and logistical costs associated with facilitating the walk and helping make this experience more accessible to others. Please contribute the amount that feels accessible to you.

If you would like to make a donation to a nonprofit to support our continued development of Walk Around Philadelphia and help provide stipends for participants facing financial hardship, you can do so via our 501c3 fiscal sponsor Fractured Atlas (and we would be most grateful!)

Our walk segment start times are coordinated with SEPTA schedules. The current funding landscape and potential service cuts may impact this project. Please contact your elected representatives to advocate for public transit, and keep an eye out for updates from us; event start times may need to be adjusted in response to any SEPTA schedule changes.
