Please register individually for EACH segment of the Fall 2025 Walk Around Philadelphia that you plan to attend. 
 

About this segment:

Meet at the Miquon regional rail station (on the Manayunk-Norristown line).

Many of us will be coming in on the SEPTA regional rail train (Manayunk/Norristown line) from Center City scheduled to arrive at 10:26am.

This segment includes an option to end with soul food at Debreaux's

One of the challenges of this segment involves navigating how to cross the Schuylkill River (the border itself is at the City Ave bridge).

In order to prepare for the choices involved with this crossing, it might be helpful to take a good look at this area both on Google Maps (in both terrain and satellite views) and at The Circuit Trails map for both current and future trails in development. 

This segment is estimated to take roughly 9.5 miles and 5 hours. The terrain may include wooded & canal trails, sidewalks, multiple bridge crossing options. 

Your mileage, terrain and endpoint may vary depending on choices made by your group; you can always choose to walk a partial segment.

 

Registration fees & contributions:

Walk event fees cover some of the administrative and logistical costs associated with facilitating the walk and helping make this experience more accessible to others. Please contribute the amount that feels accessible to you.

Our walk segment start times are coordinated with SEPTA schedules. The current funding landscape and potential service cuts may impact this project. Please contact your elected representatives to advocate for public transit, and keep an eye out for updates from us; event start times may need to be adjusted in response to any SEPTA schedule changes.
