Walk with neighbors on the city’s edge for Love Your Park Week!
Love Your Park Week is a nine-day celebration of Philadelphia's public parks from May 10-18, 2025. There will be events and volunteer cleanups all week long in locations across the city, and twelve of the walk sites are on the city’s edge in or near the places that our Walk Around Philadelphia perimeter-walkers pass through.
Love Your Park Week is also a great opportunity to get outside for a walk and connect with neighbors!
WeWalkPHL is a free walking group that meets several times per week at various public parks across the city. The We Walk PHL spring season runs from May 1 – June 30 and newcomers are always welcome, so Love Your Park Week is a great opportunity to connect with a local walking group near you, or join one to get to know a section of the perimeter across town.
NOTE: We’re highlighting the WeWalkPHL groups that meet weekly along the city’s perimeter. Walk Around Philadelphia will not have an official presence at the event, but you may run into other Circumnavigators out there!
