Walk Guidelines & Frequently Asked Questions

Register for this segment:

Walk on Saturday Sept 14th, 7:30am, from Fox Chase towards Broad Street.

Meet at the Fox Chase regional rail station (end of the Fox Chase line)
Many of us will be coming in on the train from Center City scheduled to arrive at 7:25am.
This segment includes an option to end with lunch at the food court of the H-Mart on Old York Road in Elkins Park.

This segment is estimated to take roughly 5.5 and 5 hours. The terrain includes mostly easy walking along sidewalks, with potential bits of off-road forest adventure.

Your mileage, terrain and endpoint may vary depending on choices made by your group; you can always choose to walk a partial segment & depart / get picked up along the way.

Getting to/from the start & finish:

Using SEPTA to access departure and end locations is highly recommended. See the FAQ.

Registration fees & contributions:

Walk event fees cover some of the administrative and logistical costs associated with facilitating the walk and helping make this experience more accessible to others. Please contribute the amount that feels accessible to you.

NOTE: Event fees and contributions made through this website are not tax deductible. If you would like to make a donation to a 501c3 nonprofit to support Walk Around Philadelphia, you can do so via Fractured Atlas (and we would be most grateful for your support of this project!)
