Reply To: Favorite walk memories?
In following the Poquessing Creek last weekend, the group found their way back under Woodhaven Road again… this is a really tricky crossing that is *definitely* not easily accessible, and offers a bit of “Outward Bound” style adventure in crossing a fallen tree, sliding down a muddy slope, spotting each other all along the way… every time we’ve found our way across it though it’s been super fun.
The city may eventually build a trail here and make this underpass an actual raised sidewalk kind of situation as part of the eventual Lower Poquessing Creek Trail … which would be great, but I’ll always savor the memories of navigating this lil bit of challenging terrain w/ our walkers.
