Walk Around Philadelphia February 2023 Virtual Launch and Info Session

Date: Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 5:30 pm

Event Status: Available

Gather online to learn about Walk Around Philadelphia & prepare for this February’s exploration of the city’s edge. This hourlong virtual event will preview new route segments and provide opportunities to connect with the growing community of perimeter-walkers.

(This event is open to all, regardless of whether you’ve explored any of the city’s edge yet)

Since it’s 4-person artist residency origins in 2016, Walk Around Philadelphia has grown into a pilgrimage experience where hundreds (ranging in age from 12 to 94) have set out to explore the city’s border.

This year, we’ll be journeying counterclockwise over three weekends in February, in small and big groups, with special events along the way including a birthday dinner for JJ and programming at the Schuylkill Center in conjunction with the exhibit Walking The Edge.

This free* virtual event will offer an introduction to the walk, preparation invitations for walk segments, and community connection.
