Hi Curtiss! I love that you’re making a gift of this experience. There are a bunch of options, but one factor is transit and geographic accessibility– for instance if you’re in W philly you might start with a segment that includes some of Cobbs Creek Park, whereas if you’re in NW you might want to include the Andorra Meadow or River Road, but if you’re in the Northeast then maybe the trails behind Benjamin Rush State Park? On the Delaware river front, there are gorgeous bits of the upper delaware river trail (Glen Foerd, the K&T trail etc) and there’s also the lands north of Penn Treaty Park to graffiti pier or if heading south the Washington Ave Pier and Pier 68 and cat villages just south of there. Many possibilities. There’s also the factor of how long you’d want to walk, etc.
Once you’ve taken your first jaunt, please also bring this person to our year end event on Dec 13 at The Cedar Works, and keep an eye out for upcoming printmaking opportunities and other walk events (we might be at Cherry Street Pier on Dec 5)
